The U-shaped base helps a single care giver turn the patient to side lying with less exertion and stress. The curved interior slots  keep the lower extremities separated and in a stable position. The flat sides allow the patient to stay in side lying so clinicians can check for wounds, change absorbency pads or for temporary re-positioning. The U-Turn is covered in our Low Shear II wipe clean material.

Easy to Use
With the patient on the bed, position the turning device under their leg or knee area. Hold the handle with one hand while using the other hand to support the patient's waist or back. Gently turn the patient's body towards you. To maintain the turned position, slide the strap through the handle and fasten it securely to the guardrail to stabilize the patient.
