BREATHABLE & FLUID RESISTANT:
The gel seat cushion is covered by a water resistant stretch nylon cover that wipes clean in seconds, and repels spills. It is breathable to ensure comfort and prevent sweating and itching. The cover is flame retardant. Removing the cover is not recommended.

SUPPORT & COMFORT:
The combination of multiple high density foam layers, gel, and breathable nylon offers the best support for wheelchair bound patients and people sitting in office chairs or other seats for extended periods of time. It has a 275 pound weight capacity and is backed by a 18 month warranty.

MEDICAL GRADE SUPPORT:
Designed as a wheelchair cushion, it is also great as an office chair cushion, car seat cushion or any chair. Two layers of high resilient foam provide increased comfort and decrease the likelihood of pressure sores.

Good, BUT...

Pad is best so far, but has serious issues when trying to remove and reinserting sponge core...ruins the cushion integrity...for good! DO NOT remove core...hand wash surface covering only!

Average quality and comfort

After one day of use, a cover was added to protect the product. The gell keeps you cooler in summer months but it isn't as comfortable to sit on.

Makes getting out of the chair a bit easier.

As I get older, it’s harder to get out of the chair and it’s a bit uncomfortable. I put this in my recliner and the height is just enough to help me get out of the chair and the foam in this cushion softens my seat. Easy to clean. Just wipe it off.

Yes there is gel inside, but...

The gel is in two separate sealed bags that are sandwiched between two foam pads. I had to zip open the cover and pull the foam pieces apart to find the gel pads. It's a heavy cushion and I could tell that there was gel somewhere inside by the way it shifted when I moved it. There is quite a bit of gel but it doesn't look anything like the product page pictures that show blue gel pads. It is clear gel inside clear bags. The cover is easy to clean and seems reasonably waterproof. I ordered this for my husband but it was too late for his dining room table chair. It would have been perfect if I had ordered a smaller size. I really like this cushion though it seems a bit pricey at the current retail of around $42.

Comfortable, firm, thick

This cushion is the exact size for a relative's wheelchair, and it offers great firm support without being too soft that it flattens. The visiting nurses and therapist approve of the cushion, one stating that it is just the perfect depth to bring my relative to the perfect height to sit at the table to eat, and to work on other occupational therapy exercises.The cushion has a strap which makes it easy to secure the cushion to a wheelchair or other chairs.Overall, this is a great cushion and I'm satisfied with my order.
