Youll reduce the risk of moderate to severe injuries affecting the back muscles, nerves, and spine, all while promoting a safer experience for the patient. Use this device with another trained medical professional for the best results. In just a few quick steps, youll have the patient transferred from the wheelchair to the preferred location.

Between uses, the pad is easy to take off the chair for cleaning. Made with water-resistant materials, you can easily wipe away any spills from the chair. Keep the surface clean and dry to promote the most hygienic conditions for patients who rely on the wheelchair glide daily.

Be sure to read the instructions and follow the guidelines of your hospital or nursing home when using this product. Remember to have the arrows pointing to the back of the chair and to slide the handles in that direction when lifting a patient. Watch the glide do its job with you and another person on the other side of the chair. Some patients may require additional medical staff to transfer, depending on their weight.

Easy to Use
1. Position the Chair Glide in the chair, label side up, with the arrow pointing toward the back.
2. For repositioning, have one or two caregivers grasp the handles and gently pull the system toward the back of the chair.
3. Each time the patient is lifted, adjust the glide pad so the red webbing is at the chair’s front.

Easy to Clean
The pad is fluid-resistant and can be cleaned with soap, water, or a mild disinfectant.

Caution
- Do Not slide the resident forward as the one-way locking fabric restricts movement to the back only.
- Follow facility protocols for patient positioning.
- Check the system for wear before each use, and replace it if necessary.
