Designed to treat and prevent soft tissue or skin breakdown, as well as pressure ulcers, pressure sores, deep tissue issues and surgery or other wounds. This inflatable cushion for wheelchairs adjusts to each patient's size and weight.

INDEPENDENT DUAL VALVE INFLATION:
Inflate the sides to different levels, or change the front and back angles to conform to the needs of each patient. The air moves with the body, and it can be adjusted to match the body shape of each patient, or their personal skin condition needs.

PRESSURE REDISTRIBUTION:
The 2 inch high cells offer a low profile with deep immersion to better redistribute pressure and protect the patient's skin and tissue. This air wheelchair cushion is designed to offer a larger contact area, increase blood flow and improve circulation.

SUPERIOR COMFORT:
The removable and washable nylon cover is super breathable to improve comfort. The non skid bottom and safety straps ensure it remains in place and does not slide around. The soft interconnected air cells provide low pressure across the entire surface.

FULL PACKAGE:
Included is a dual valve air cushion, patch repair kit, and hand pump. The cellular cushion is latex free, and made of flame resistant neoprene. Weight capacity is 500 lbs, and it is backed by a 5 year manufacturer warranty.

It seems comfortable and pressure reducing. The pump is somewhat odd in it's functioning. Feels durable, sturdy and lightweight. 32years only roho; I took a chance with this brand this time. Time will tell.

Great Air Cushion

Great air cushion, but not as easy to use as a single chamber air cushion. Pros heavy duty construction, metal valves and quickly inflates with the included pump. Cons dual chamber design is more difficult to self adjust for paraplegic users. But fully inflating both chambers for firm seating or fully inflating and then opening each valve to equalize the air pressure without any pressure on the cushion gives you soft seating. However self adjusting while in the chair is very difficult for paraplegic users.

Helps prevent pressure ulcers and encourage wound healing

Cushion is easy to inflate/deflate. Requires daily check to ensure that pressure is appropriate. Helps to prevent pressure ulcers and promotes wound healing by protecting pressure points. The kit is supposed to come with a pump and repair kit, but the original one received from Amazon did not include the repair kit, nor did the replacement. Amazon was unable to send repair kit separately. I finally called the vendor, and they provided the missing item.

SO FAR SO GOOD!

These are expensive but less so than Roho and they work fine. The pump is also effective and nice-looking. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is that I haven’t used it long enough. Many times that I was quick to give five star reviews I’ve regretted it because shortly thereafter the product collapses especially when the warranty has expired and you’re left with a dud. I’m glad that Amazon has extended its review period extensively, whereby you can use the product for a really long time and offer reviews from a place of experience with the product. Thank you Amazon for changing the rules for reviewing product to the benefit of the buyer.
