Installation Instructions for Standard Support Side Wings
1. Remove the top and second-from-top screws from both sides of the wheelchair backrest.
2. Note that the Side Wings are marked LEFT and RIGHT. Four sets of screws and washers are provided with the Side Wings. Place a washer on each screw. Insert the screws through the slots in the brackets, through the holes in the wheelchair upholstery, and into the screw holes in the backrest frame. Use two screws for each bracket. Tighten screws. The brackets have two parallel sets of slots that allow you to adjust the Side Wings for narrow-shouldered or wide-shouldered residents.
Installation Instructions for X-tra Support Side Wings
1. Follow steps one and two above.
2. Wrap the armrest pads around the wheelchair armrests and secure the Velcro closure.
Easy to Care For
Skil-Care Wheelchair Side Wings wipe clean with a damp cloth. A spray-type cleaner may be used. If Velcro closures on the X-tra Support model accumulate lint or particles, these may be removed using a stiff brush.
