1. The belt is placed around the resident with the buckle conveniently located and the red loops are on the outside. If the resident has the inclination to attempt to unbuckle the belt then the buckle should be oriented to the side or back out of their reach.
2. After the belt is placed around the resident it should be adjusted to a snugness where the belt doesn’t slip but isn’t uncomfortable.
3. Once the belts are properly adjusted on the resident then based on the resident’s weight, gait ability and caregiver strength, a nursing professional should determine the appropriate number of aids to be used when assisting.
Easy Care
The transfer belts can be laundered in an institutional laundry but dried at temperatures (180°F, 82°C or lower). The belts can also be wiped clean with a standard disinfectant. When the belt exhibits excessive wear, it should be discarded and replaced.

I bought the scale because my husband has large feet and balance problems. The other scale was only off by one tenth of a lb when I was going to Weight Watchers. I weigh my self on both scales one after the other. This heavy duty scale always weighs me less than the older scale. So I'm not sure which one is correct. I'll have to find some weighs and try that. Then I'll update my review.
We love this new heavy duty bathroom scale! We had a previous scale that you could weigh on it 3 consecutive times and get 3 different weights…sometimes several pounds different. Not this one!!!! It is extremely accurate over and over again.
I bought this cushion in March 2025 after having an above the knee amputation because sitting on a regular wheelchair cushion hurt my risidual leg. It is June and the part for my stump snapped and broke, so now once again I have no support for my stump in my wheelchair
My occupational therapist said it’s because the bottom of the cushion is made with plastic.
I am on SSDI and paying 172.00 was a hardship for me.
