The light box’s 15” x 15” frosted light screen features two illumination setting. The unit can be placed in pressure sensitive mode to turn on and off intermittently when activated or it can be set to steady on mode to provide continuous illumination.

The unit is designed to work in conjunction with Skil-Care’s sensory stimulation gel pads. The gel pads on their own encourage color recognition activities and manipulation for tactile stimulation, while improving eye hand coordination and hand/finger strengthening. (Sold separately) When the gel pads are combined with the Press N Glo Light Box the sensory stimulation experience is heightened to increase attention span and/or just add more fun. The unit can also be used to illuminate drawings and transparent objects for viewing or tracing.

Skil-Care Specializes In:  Bed and wheelchair positioning, mattresses, skin protection, gait and transfer assistance, exercise, bariatric accessories, sensory stimulation, physical restraints and numerous other products that are essential.

Product Highlights

  • When combined with Gel pads the unit provides a surface for tactile manipulation to help improve eye-hand coordination, reduce boredom and help to develop finger strength.
  • Optional gel pads help develop learning skills and color and shape recognition.
  • Unit operates under two power settings (pressure sensitive or continuous on).

Light Box Size: 15"W x 15"D

Operation
• Make sure on-off switch is in OFF position.
• Using a small Phillips head screwdriver remove the screw on each of the four battery compartments (do not discard screw).
• Remove the battery cover by pushing in the direction of the arrow.
• Install 8, C alkaline batteries according to the correct polarity.
• Replace the battery cover; be sure the battery cover locks (snaps) back into place.
• Replace the screw, caution don’t over tighten the screw.
• Turn unit to “Steady On”, unit will light up continuously.
• Turn unit off.
• Turn unit on to “Press On”, then press top of unit for it to light. In this mode the unit will light up only when pressed.
• Turn unit off
• Turn to off position when unit is not in use.
• When ready to use, place gel pads or item to be traced on the unit and set the switch to the desired position.
• Proudly made in the USA.

Additional Information
• Press N Glo, Light Box requires (8) alkaline C batteries (not included)
• For best results use Duracell® alkaline batteries.
• To extend battery life we recommend to operate the unit in “Press On” mode.

Cautions
• The unit may be cleaned, with a damp cloth that contains soap or any cleaner. Do not spray any liquid directly on the product.
• Do not attempt to dismantle product.
• This product can be used by any child. However it should not be used without proper supervision of a parent or professional who can assess the abilities and limitations of the user.
