This removable, rigid orthosis support provides superior lateral control in most wheelchairs. 

Skil-Care Lateral Support Orthosis with Backrest is a positioning device that is used to correct and control lateral leaning in a wheelchair. It is made with a firm contoured plastic frame that is covered in a padded foam which provides support under the axilla (armpit area), the Skil-Care Lateral Support Orthosis is a restraint-free design with no restrictive straps. The rigid support provides a superior level of lateral control and helps wheelchair users sit erect in any standard wheelchair.
