An exciting stimulating pad that reduces anxiety and boredom.

This multi-modal Gel Aquarium addresses sight and touch and is effective in reducing anxiety, boredom and also serves as a tool in training for eye-hand coordination. Improves finger strength and dexterity with tactile stimulation, visual stimulation, and fine motor skills. Place the pad on a convenient surface or lap. The user should be encouraged to move the four fish around the aquarium pad.

The brain seeks information primarily by directing individuals to look, listen, smell, touch and taste. It is important to note that the experience of any event is almost always multi-modal involving the sensory and motion systems (Freeman, 1991, Thelen & Smith, 1997). It has been found that therapeutic touch (Krieger, 1997) is effective in decreasing anxiety.

Sensory Tool for Kids: These gel pads offers multiple sensory stimulation that helps in reducing boredom and encourages activity and engagement to kids. The touch-responsive design is also made for tactile and visual stimulation.

Easy to Use
This sensory pad should be placed on a surface convenient to the person. The individual should be encouraged to move the four fish around the aquarium pad. This pad may be warmed in warm water or cooled in the refrigerator to enhance recognition of heat or cold. Since the fish present a possible choking hazard this product shouldn’t be used for persons cognitively under three (3) years old. In addition, the sensory pad must always be used under the direct supervision of a qualified
care giver.

Easy Care
This sensory activity pad is manufactured by means of heat-sealing. It can be cleaned with a mild, non-chlorinated detergent and can be disinfected with a mild, non-chloride-containing disinfectant. Although the gel is not toxic, medical assistance must be invoked if the gel is taken through the mouth. If the product is cracked or damaged, it must be discarded.

Caution
Possible choking hazard. Do not use for persons cognitively under three (3) years old.
