NYOrtho Door Guard Alarm System is an effective door alarm guard for wandering patients. These door guard alarms warn caregivers when a patient attempts to exit or enter a door that the medical alarm system is serving. These alarm systems can also be used at home for fall management and wander prevention. These door guard alarms can even be used to prevent children from wandering. The Alarm is quick to sound whenever the guard or banner is detached from the door alarm monitor.

  • The NYOrtho Door Guard is a visual reminder to deter wandering residents or patients from entering off limit zones and areas. The adjustable door guard provides fall management and cautionary discouragement for Alzheimer’s and Dementia patients as well as for confused residents.
  • Sizing variations are available for all door frames and door sizes. Choosing the right size door guard can be easily done by measuring the exterior border of the door frame. Door frames up to 40 inches can fit the 40 inch door guard, door frames between 41 inches and 48 inches can fit the 48 inch door guard, door frames between 49 inches and 53 inches can fit the 53 inch door guard and door frames between 54 inches and 60 inches can fit 60 inch door guard.
  • The NYOrtho Door Guard Stop Sign, made from high quality material, includes sturdy white mesh, water resistant vinyl and durable hook and loop. The bright red color used for the stop sign is seen from afar and unable to miss.
