30-Degree Positioning Wedge

Help position yourself in the most comfortable sleeping position with this wedge contoured to an optimum 30 degrees.

Optimal Pressure Relief: Provides a 30-degree angle of incline, specifically designed to relieve pressure on the hipbone and coccyx, in line with AHRQ guidelines. This optimal angle helps in reducing the appearance of bedsores and promotes faster recovery.

Comfortable and High-Density Foam: Made from standard or high-density foam, available in either smooth or convoluted surfaces, the wedge offers superior comfort and effective pressure relief. Models with a Super Soft Convoluted foam surface provide additional cushioning for enhanced comfort.

Secure and Stable Design: The wedge features a non-slip bottom, ensuring it stays securely in place during use. This stability is crucial for maintaining the desired positioning and maximizing the therapeutic benefits.

Infection Control and Easy Maintenance: Designed to be disinfected easily for infection control, this wedge is ideal for healthcare environments. The Low-Shear II covers are easy to clean and help eliminate skin friction, further protecting the user’s skin.

Purpose:
Skil-Care’s 30-Degree Bed Positioning Wedge is designed to comply with the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) guidelines that recommend a 30-degree angle of incline as optimal for relieving pressure on the hipbone and coccyx.

Easy to Use
1. Place patient on his/side and slip tapered edge of wedge beneath patient, just below the shoulders. (Non-slip matting faces bed. It does not come in
contact with patient).
2. Allow patient to roll back onto the wedge.
3. Reposition patient according to your facility’s established procedures and policies.

Product Care Instructions:
The 30-Degree Positioning Wedge may be wiped clean using a spray-and-wipe cleanser. Disinfect using a non-chlorine disinfectant.
