too short

This sit to stand device is sturdily made. It handles well as far as navigation.

However the knee pads were so low that they hit my shins, not my knees. This was very uncomfortable. I am not a tall person (am 5'5"). Also the bar you use to pull yourself up with your arms was too low for me to get good leverage.

I have used two other models of sit to stand and did not have these problems. Their knees pads hit at my knees. Their arm bars were at the right height for lifting you up.

Customer service was excellent at letting me return my purchase. They were most professional in handling the situation.

If you are a very short person, this ProHeal device might work well for you.

This allows my mom to stay at home

I use lift devices like this in my hospital work, and knew it would allow my dad to take care of my mom at home. I'm used to the institutional solid construction of a different model/ brand, but this ProHeal lift is excellent. It pays for itself within 1-2 days vs nursing home costs. Highly recommend!

Very satisfied

The lift was like one that my wife experienced at the hospital so we were expecting it to meet our needs. What we came to realize though was how important the expanding base would be. It is also safe.

We were sent the fixed base although we ordered the adjustable base. But we made the fixed base work to avoid the hassle of return. Customer service was helpful to refund the price difference. It's a well made product and very functional. Easy to use. As long as the person can be helped to stand up, the rest is a breeze. Our floor is non-carpet. Easy to roll the cart around. Great investment to care for our loved one. Thank you.
