Sturdy & Strong

I bought this for my older brother - he is so happy with it - he is a heavier guy - his hips hurt constantly and he has bad knees - it's very hard for him to get around even in his apartment - he feels safe and comfortable using this cane as his aid / help getting up out of bed or getting out of chair - he has started using it in stores now and for checking his mail at main building of apartment complex down the road a little distance

Excellent cane!!

I needed a replacement cane for a quad cane I had purchased elsewhere and had broken the soldering on one side underneath. I received my new cane within a few days(!!) and I'm ecstatic with it!! It is a heavy cane, but I feel safe walking with it. I would definitely recommend this cane as long as you can easily lift five pounds.

Quad cane review

I bought this cane because it was built for a weight limit of 500. Most canes are a weight limit of 225 to 250. I would give this cane a 3.5 rating. It will handle the extra weight; however it squeaks with a little wobble where the top half and the bottom half fit together. It seems to hold steady but the wobble between the halves does give some anxiety. The quad cane I had before did not do the wobble shift. It seems to need an adjustment where the two parts meet to stop the wobble. I bought two of these canes so I could keep one in car and have one in house. Both have the wobble. Will keep testing before I give another update.

just what I wanted

this cane is sturdy, well constructed,. and the feet on the right side are situated so that my foot cannot kick or get stuck in them. I is the only one my rehab therapist would recommend. Worth the money.

Sturdy cane at a surprisingly low price

I needed to replace the cane I got years ago. I gave this a shot based on reviews, but I was still skeptical because of the low price. I was pleasantly surprised by the solid build, grippy handle and reinforced adjustment peg. I am a heavy woman with debilitating arthritis and neuropathy, and I lean heavily on my cane when climbing the stairs in my home. This cane is indeed heavy, so if you have trouble lifting, it may not be for you. But for me, I could not be happier

Medium to heavy duty cane

This cane feels very strong and solid. The height adjuster works great and the handle grip is solid and firm and is a great fit for a larger hand like mine.

Good quality

I bought this cane for my husband since he injured his ankle. He weighs 300 lb and this cane seems to hold his weight with no problem. It is a little heavier than most canes but I believe for men it would not be an issue. He loves it and is getting around the house a lot easier now. I highly recommend this for a heavier person. Seems very sturdy and safe.

Well made and very solid, which is important when you're depending on it to keep you up!! Great value for the money!!

If you need a rugged cane and can handle the weight this is the cane for you.

Yes this is 3 lbs and much heavier than aluminum cane, but it is sturdy. I have been using two of these canes for over a year to get some of my weight (400-500 pounds, 6'3") off my knees. I wish there was one more hole longer on the adjustment, but I am ok with the highest setting. I also wear out tips in about 3 months. So I started buying bulk at Amazon - Medline G00841 Guardian 7/8" Super Crutch Tip, Black (Pack of 8)Medline G00841 Guardian 7/8" Super Crutch Tip, Black (Pack of 8). Pack of 8 is really 16 tips because they are crutch tips and they are the same as original equipment tips in this cane. So if you are shopping at a store look for 7/8 replacement crutch tips. Oh I bent a cane because I thought they were sturdy enough to use as a crow bar, but they are not a crow bar. I am using the bent one, but have ordered a replacement. LOL
