Facilitate resident transfer, lifting, and positioning while reducing caregiver exposure to back injury.
Super-Slings are designed to facilitate patient transfer, lifting, and positioning. They may also be used for emergency evacuations when wheelchairs or gurneys are either unavailable or not practical. Super-Slings reduce exposure to back injury by permitting multiple caregivers to lift, move, transfer and position patients. Skil-Care’s Super-Slings are made from low-friction nylon that enables caregivers to slide patients easily on all surfaces, including beds and gurneys.
Maximum Safety: Our Super-Slings 8-Handles are built with a focus on safety, featuring two-inch-wide nylon webbing and reinforced stitching at each handle, ensuring a secure lift for residents up to 500lbs, reducing the risk of injury for both caregivers and residents.
Ease of Transfer: The friction-reducing bottom of our Super-Slings allows for smooth transfers and repositioning, providing comfort and reducing the physical strain on up to four caregivers, making it an essential tool for patient care and mobility.
Durable Material: Crafted from durable, launderable nylon fabric, our Super-Slings are designed to withstand the demands of daily use while offering easy maintenance, ensuring long-term reliability in a healthcare setting.
Large Dimensions: With a generous size of 46"L x 46"W, our Super-Slings provide ample space for secure handling during transfers, making them an ideal choice for facilitating the movement of residents in a safe and comfortable manner.

Important Notices
- Determine how many caregivers will be required to lift, carry, or move a specific patient.
- Be certain to follow your facility’s established policies for lifting, carrying, moving, or positioning patients.
- Make certain that the patient’s head is supported (either by positings the Super-Sling beneath the head or by having a caregiver support the head with his/her hands) when lifting or carrying a patient.
Lateral Transfer
1. Place the sling sheet completely under resident utilizing the “Log Roll” or similar technique.
2. Position the stretch/gurney to which the resident is transferring next to bed. Note the gap should not be greater than 5cm or 2 inches between the bed and stretch/gurney and the stretch/gurney should be slightly lower from the surface from where the resident is being transferred. Make sure both the bed and the stretch/gurney casters are locked during transfer.
3. Position the appropriate number of caregivers on either side and grasp the handles on both sides of the sheet; have one side pull handles and resident towards the surface you are transferring transfer to while the other side pushes the sheet / resident.
4. Make sure when doing the transferring the bed rails are in the up position except the ones between the two surfaces.
Resident Repositioning
1. Place the sling sheet completely under resident utilizing the “Log Roll” or similar technique.
2. Position the appropriate number of caregivers on either side bed and grasp the handles on both sides of the sheet and gently pull the sheet towards the head of the bed. Always make sure the casters on the bed are locked during the repositioning of the resident.
