Indications - The Skil-Care Rigid Padded Mitts are recommended for use with a patient who:

  • Removes bandages and dressings
  • Picks and scratches at wounds
  • Grasps and pulls out feeding and naso-gastric tubes
  • Turns his/her hand over inside standard padded mitts

Rigid insert restricts resident’s ability to grab tubes.

The Skil-Care Stiff Palm Padded Mitts contain a rigid insert inside 1" thick padding that limits a resident's ability to grip or pull on tubes while remaining comfortable. The Padded Mitts' top CooLine mesh cover allows for visual inspection and boosts airflow. These rigid palm padded mitts are the greatest solution all-around since they are made with finger separator channels that help control hand contracture. Mitts are machine washable and dryable after removing the insert.

Safety-First Design: Skil-Care's Padded Mitts provide a gentle solution to prevent self-injury or pulling at IV lines, offering safety with dignity for patients in care.

Breathable Comfort: Made with lightweight materials and a mesh design, these mitts allow for air circulation, reducing heat and enhancing patient comfort during use.
