A comfortable walking boot that off loads pressure from heel when used in the bed.
Ski-Care’s Heel-Float Walker Boot floats the heel over an air cavity to prevent pressure sores from forming or aid in the healing of existing sores. It includes a detachable nonslip tread pad that permits limited ambulation and facilitates bed/wheelchair transfer. The foot support combines a rigid plastic insert with flexion-limiting straps that maintain the foot at a 90° angle. A gel insert beneath the ankle relieves pressure and cools the skin.
Heel Pressure Relief: The Skil-Care Heel Float Walker Boot is innovatively designed to off-load pressure from the heel, preventing pressure ulcers. Ideal for patients with limited mobility, it ensures the heel is suspended in air, reducing the risk of skin breakdown.
Walking Capability & Ankle Support: This unique walker boot not only protects the heel but also allows walking, featuring a non-skid bottom for safety. It provides ample ankle support, making it a versatile choice for both mobility and stationary care needs.
Comfortable & Contoured Design: The Heel Float Walker Boot is equipped with a contoured foam interior that cradles the foot, providing comfort and stability. This design is essential for long-term wear, both in a resting position and while moving.
Durable & Easy Maintenance: With a durable outer cover that's easy to clean, this walker boot is designed for longevity and hygiene. The cover's easy maintenance is crucial for healthcare settings, ensuring the boot remains clean and safe for continuous use.
