This fire-proof fiber glass fabric apron protects the resident from accidental cigarette or cigar burns.

Ski-Care’s Smoker’s Apron is designed as an aid in the prevention of accidental ignition of a resident’s or patient’s clothing. It is not a substitute for proper supervision. Patients or residents in wheelchairs who smoke must be supervised. The regular size fits most wheelchair users. The larger version fits users in a Geri-Chair.

Enhanced Fire Safety: The Skil-Care Smoker's Apron is designed to enhance fire safety for individuals who smoke. Particularly in healthcare and residential settings, by providing quick flame extinguishing capabilities and protective coverage.

Durable Flame-Retardant: Our product is made with durable, flame-retardant materials. The Smoker's Apron offers a protective barrier against ash and hot embers or direct flames.

User-Freindly: The Smoker's Apron features an adjustable neck strap for a comfortable fit, ensuring convenience and ease of use for individuals. Prevents neck irritation and designed to be lightweight to remove pressure.

Ideal for Safety: These products are ideal for use in individual homes. as well as in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Providing an added layer of safety for residents and staff in environments where smoking is permitted.

Skil-Care Specializes In:  Bed and wheelchair positioning, mattresses, skin protection, gait and transfer assistance, exercise, bariatric accessories, sensory stimulation, physical restraints and numerous other products that are essential.

Product Highlights

  • Separates the legs for optimal hip alignment with either a 1.5” or 3” leg separator
  • Removable foot separator that converts the Footrest Extender to a standard footrest
  • Covered in durable wipe-clean vinyl
  • Raises the leg rest platform for shorter residents
  • Two quick release buckle straps allows for easy attachment to most 16”, 18” or 20” wide wheelchairs

Easy to Use:
Wheelchair Smoker's Apron
1. Place apron over resident/patient and adjust neck strap so that the top of the apron is above the chest.
2. Wrap the upper two sets of Velcro straps around the left and right metal bars just behind the armrest pads. Secure by pressing hook side against loop side.
3. Wrap lower two sets of Velcro straps around the left and right metal bars just below the front of the wheelchair seat. Secure by pressing hook side against loop side.

Geri-Chair Smoker's Apron
1. Place the apron over resident/patient and adjust the neck strap so that the top of the apron is above the chest.
2. Secure upper Velcro closures on left and right sides above left and right rear wheels.
3. Secure lower Velcro closures on left and right sides above left and right front wheels.

Easy Care:
The Smoker’s Apron may be cleaned with a mild spray-type cleanser and a damp cloth or sponge. Do not launder. The smokers apron should be rolled for storage, folding and creasing can cause the developing cracks or pinholes.
