Lying in one place in bed puts pressure on the tailbone that can lead to pressure injuries. The Skil-Care TPS system is used by nurses to reposition in bed and float the tailbone to relieve pressure over the coccyx area. It also helps reduce the caregiver’s risk of injury when repositioning the patient.

This system is designed for sliding, transferring and securely positioning patients on their side to off-load the coccyx and sacral areas.

Easy To Use: A standard wedge tends to move as the resident applies a side-lying force. The bed system uses a nonskid surface so that the components remain in place while positioning patients on their side.

Pressure Relief Design: Engineered to alleviate sacral pressure, Skil-Care's Positioning Wedges help in preventing decubitus ulcers, making them essential for bedridden patient care.

Healing Support: These wedges aid in the management and healing of existing pressure sores, promoting better health outcomes and comfort for individuals with limited mobility.

Optimal Inclination: Offering a 30-degree angle of inclination, these wedges provide critical support, reducing pressure on the hipbone and coccyx for pain relief and improved positioning.

• DO NOT use with patients who exceed 400lbs in weight.
• Before each use check the system for signs of wear and replace when necessary.
