Made with pressure reducing and protective foam for providing relief to most bariatric residents. Skil-Care has two other gel-filled bariatric cushions and a three layer (Tri-Foam) bariatric cushion for extreme (400+ lbs.) bariatric residents. In the event the resident is less than 400 lbs. this economy bariatric cushion would be effective for pressure reduction and would also be significantly less expensive.

Features: The cushion is comprised of very high quality four inch foam for added comfort, pressure redistribution and reduction of pressure sores. In addition, it is covered with a two way stretch, waterproof fabric that will aid in the reduction of shear forces and protect against incontinence. In addition, there is a safety strap for attachment to the wheelchair.

Economical Comfort: The Skil-Care Budget Bariatric Foam Cushion offers a cost-effective solution for providing enhanced comfort and support.

Bariatric Support: Designed to meet the needs of bariatric patients, this cushion provides reliable support and pressure relief, promoting overall well-being and comfort.

Easy to Clean: The fluid-proof cover can be easily wiped clean using a damp cloth and spray-type cleanser. A mild disinfectant may be used, but avoid using bleach.

Caution
The budget bariatric foam cushion has straps with buckles that must be secured to the wheelchair to prevent the cushion from sliding off the seat. In addition, other Skil-Care bariartic cushions are recommended for residents under 400 lbs.
