The Geri-Chair Alternating Pressure Overlay System is an advanced pressure redistribution device designed to help reduce the risk of pressure ulcers. It features foam cells that switch between inflation and deflation, reducing peak pressures and redistributing pressure away from vulnerable areas. This system provides a safer, more comfortable seating environment and reduces the risk of ulceration by up to 70%.

The ProHeal Geri Chair Overlays are an ultra-comfortable choice to reduce interface pressure while seated in a Geri Chair or recliner. This line of products comes in two options, an air-inflated overlay or a foam overlay.

 

Its benefits and features:

  • The top layer of the foam overlay features Visco Gel Polymer Technology (VGPT™), which provides rapid heat dissipation and excellent pressure redistribution.
  • The VGPT™ foam design reduces the risk of pressure sores by channeling heat away from the body, significantly faster than traditional foam, virtually eliminating perspiration.
  • These overlays fit a standard geriatric recliner, and they are easily transportable from room to room.
  • Their top cover is crafted from stretch nylon that is fluid resistant and vapor permeable, reducing perspiration.

PRESSURE RELIEF SEAT CUSHION:
The ProHeal Air Inflated Geri Seat Cushion is designed for ultimate comfort and supreme back, lumbar, and butt support. Designed with user-friendly quiet pump, the overlay provides alternating pressure relief therapy to patients in a Geri Chair or recliner.

QUALITY GERI SEAT CUSHIONS:
ProHeal provides a patient with quality products that they can rely on. The Geri Chair Cushion upper layer is made from stretch nylon that is fluid resistant and vapor permeable, making it the prefered pressure ulcer cushion treatment.

PUMP ACCESSORIES:
The Geri Inflatable Chair pump is equipped with power of 8 LPM. The pump equipment provides customizable alternating pressure therapy, in a 10 minute alternating cycle. It has a low pressure alarm that indicates when air flow may be compromised.
